Mission Statement

To love God in His community of love by worshiping Him through Word and Sacrament, and by making disciples of Jesus Christ who are equipped to love God by serving, evangelizing, and discipling others through a faithful stewardship of the gifts of the Spirit.

Ancient

We faithfully receive and guard the apostolic and catholic traditions of the Christian faith.  We believe that the Bible is God’s divinely inspired Word and must be read with the whole Church.  Our worship is derived from the Bible and the early Church.
 

Future

We believe that each local church must apply the ancient faith to the contemporary world.  For this reason, we desire to be a “future” church, one that takes the church into 21st century America.
 

Community

St. Chrys seeks to be a community of love, something many people in this post-modern world do not have.  From the divine fellowship we share with God comes the human fellowship we enjoy so much at St. Chrys.
 

Love

At St. Chrys, our goal is to love God.  We worship God with reverence and joy.  We love God by being His faithful disciples and willingly giving up our lives to Him.  Our love of God becomes our love for our neighbors, as we serve them, bring them the Good News of Jesus Christ, and lead them to become followers of Jesus Christ.
