Christian Formation
Christian Formation is our discipleship course based
on the model used by the early church. Christian Formation
is an introduction to St. Chrys: what we believe and
why. In it, we learn about becoming a Christian, true
discipleship, and the meaning of the Church as God’s
people. It’s a great class to prepare for membership,
baptism, or confirmation.
Discipleship Group
Our Discipleship Group meets:
1. To read the same Bible passages day by day and
meditate on them.
2. To pray based on what God is saying to us through
the Scriptures.
3. To model community as we read the Word, pray, and
share our lives.
4. To envision and enact our common ministry as we do
all of the above.
Daughters of the King
The Daughters of the King (DOK) is a lay order of
women who have taken vows to support the church by praying
daily for its members and ministries, directing service
projects, and assisting the pastor. A women's
devotional, open to all women at St. Chrys, also meets
immediately after the DOK.
